Donate Money

While the consequences of the current financial crisis are not yet fully known, we at the Bay Area Food Bank feel certain about 2 things - the number of people in need of food assistance will surely rise and the food bank will be there to help them.

If your organization would like to hold a fundraiser for the Bay Area Food Bank, please contact our Associate Director, Oak McCulloch.

You can also donate money by clicking the "GIVE" icon in the corner of this page.  We greatly appreciate donations of any kind, as we rely on them to provide more food to people in need throughout our 24 county service area.

Below are 4 different ways in which you can give financially to your Bay Area Food Bank.

1. Donate Online

  • Give quickly and safely to the Bay Area Food Bank by clicking on the"GIVE" button on this page.  You have the option of making a one-time donation, or selecting  “I want to make a recurring donation” and choosing Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.

2. Donate By Mail

3. Stocks and Mutual Funds

  • Looking for a tax-wise way to keep the shelves stocked at the Bay Area Food Bank?  Are you holding shares that have appreciated significantly in value but pay a low dividend?  Consider donating appreciated securities (stocks, bonds or mutual funds you've held for more than one year) to the food bank.  By doing so, you may be able to reduce or avoid capital gains taxes and receive a federal income tax charitable deduction.

4. Capital Campaign

  • Contact our Associate Director, Oak McCulloch, about opportunities to help your food bank provide more food more efficiently.
